practical solutions to families preparing for, experiencing currently, or moving on after a seperation or divorce.

Marcia Boumil, MA, J.D., LL.M
Marcia M. Boumil, MA, JD, LL.M has been a member
of the faculty at Tufts University School of Medicine, Department of Public Health and Family Medicine, for nearly 20 years.
She teaches Health Law, Mental Health Law, Ethics and Maternal and Child Health. She is the Director of a Dual JD/MPH Program between Tufts and Northeastern
University School of Law. As part of Professor Boumil’s professional responsibilities at Tufts, she directs two programs
at Tufts
Medical
Center:
the Comprehensive Family Evaluation Center and the Medical Legal Partnership for Children. Both programs address legal and advocacy issues on behalf of
children and families. Professor Boumil is the author of 10 books, primarily texts, and numerous articles in the fields
of health law, mental health and family issues.

Joel Friedman,
Ph.D.
Joel Friedman, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist and Health Service
Provider in Massachusetts. As an Assistant clinical Professor of Psychology, Dr. Friedman served on the teaching
faculty of the Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts General Hospital for thirty years. He has also held
appointments at several other Massachusetts hospitals and universities. As President of Bay State Psychological Associates
for nine years, his functions included consultation to a range of institutions from local schools to major national corporations.
He has co-authored six books and a video tape concept related to legal, psychological and gender issues. He has been
an invited speaker at many colleges and universities. Dr. Friedman
maintains a clinical practice in Brookline Massachusetts.

Steven Nisenbaum,
Ph.D., J.D.
Dr. Nisenbaum has over 30 years of experience in clinical treatment and management
for child, adolescent and adult mental health services. He is a psychologist and mediator with extensive professional
experience in alternative dispute resolution and has served as an expert evaluator and witness, Guardian Ad
Litem, Parenting Coordinator, and Divorce Coach, working in both the public and prive sectors. Dr. Nisenbaum
is Past President of the Massachusetts Psychological Association and the Massachusetts Chapter of the Association of Family
and Conciliation Courts. He is Past President of Public Service Psychology Division of the American Psychological Association.
Dr. Nisenbaum was the recipient of the Ezra Saul Award for Outstanding Contributions to Psychology from MPA. He also
serves on the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts Council of Family Mediators. Dr. Nisenbaum holds a B.A. from
Northwestern
University,
a J.D. from Harvard Law School, and a MA and Ph.D. from Clark University.
